Ekkamai — also commonly spelled Ekamai — continues to add new cafés, restaurants and neighbourhood destinations. This monthly edit is not meant to catalogue every launch. It focuses on places with a clear reason to visit, then checks the practical details that matter before you go.

This October update focuses on recent Ekkamai openings that are currently operating and still new to the neighbourhood. If you are planning a fuller day in the area, start with our guides to things to do in Ekkamai, Ekkamai cafés and Ekkamai restaurants.

Eich Bangkok — a garden bakery house on Ekkamai Soi 10

Eich Bangkok opened in late August at 73 Ekkamai Soi 10. The two-storey wood-and-glass house is framed by greenery, giving it more of a residential garden feel than a conventional street café. The kitchen describes Eich as a bakery house and all-day dining restaurant; coffee, viennoiserie and brunch-style dishes make it work for breakfast through late afternoon rather than only a quick caffeine stop.

Current details: 73 Ekkamai 10 Alley, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana. Open daily, 8am–8pm. Telephone: 096 463 9991. The venue’s opening announcement pointed to 24 August 2026; current business posts and reviews confirm that it is operating.

Two Men Bagel — build your own at Earth Ekkamai

Two Men Bagel House added its Earth Ekkamai branch in June. The useful difference here is the cream-cheese bar: more than 20 flavours can be sampled and paired with hand-rolled bagels, alongside the shop’s filled bagel sandwiches and coffee. It is walk-in rather than reservation-led, so it suits an early breakfast or casual lunch better than a long planned meal.

Current details: Earth Ekkamai, 7/1 Sukhumvit 63, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, close to BTS Ekkamai. Open daily, 7:15am–4pm; last orders are listed at 3:30pm. The official Bangkok account also lists delivery through GrabFood.

Pinki’s Deli — sourdough sandwiches and juices at Earth Ekkamai

Pinki’s Deli occupies Room 108 on Earth Ekkamai’s first floor. Its focus is specialty sourdough: thick toast and hot sandwiches with combinations that move beyond standard deli fillings, supported by coffee, matcha and cold-pressed juices. The open kitchen and compact room make it feel closer to a Copenhagen-influenced sandwich counter than a broad all-day café.

Current details: Room 108, first floor, Earth Ekkamai, 7/1 Sukhumvit 63, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana. Open daily, 7:15am–4pm, with last orders at 3:30pm. Telephone: 082 273 3665.

Somsak — lively modern Isan cooking at Ekkamai Corner

Somsak opened at Ekkamai Corner earlier in 2026 with a colourful, music-led take on an Isan sharing meal. Som tam, laab, grilled dishes, curries and stir-fries are designed to land in the middle of the table. The atmosphere is energetic rather than rustic, making it a useful choice for a group dinner when everyone wants Thai flavours without a formal dining room.

Current details: Ekkamai Corner, 1319 Sukhumvit Road, Phra Khanong Nuea, Watthana. Open from 11am. Published closing times currently vary between listings: Time Out records 10:30pm Sunday–Wednesday and 11:30pm Thursday–Saturday, while the live Google business listing shows 11pm with an earlier kitchen close. Telephone: 083 262 9154. Check the official account or call before a late visit.

Plan your visit

Eich sits deeper inside Soi 10, while Two Men Bagel and Pinki’s Deli share the Earth Ekkamai address near the lower end of the neighbourhood. Somsak is at Ekkamai Corner on Sukhumvit Road. It is possible to combine the Earth Ekkamai stops, but the two concepts overlap at breakfast and lunch; choose one, then leave room for the next monthly opening.
